Focus Space - to Improve Your Productivity!

Following the success of the 'Launch of Focus Space' ... we would like to give you a warm welcome to our regular 'Focus Space' online sessions which run from 10 am - 12.30 pm Mondays and Thursdays - Click here for dates and details of how to join this group.

Participants do not have stay for the whole session - you can dip in and out as you please! To make things easy, these sessions can be accessed via the same Teams link - click here.

We have just started a brand new Focus Space Speaker Programme- click on the tab below for more information.

We are looking to expand our team of facilitators for Focus Space so if you would like to find out more about becoming a facilitator please contact ResearcherDevelopment@exeter.ac.uk

Following on from the successful launch of ‘Focus Space’ back in February, we have been successful in obtaining funding to be able to invite further guest speakers, potentially once a month, leading up until July 2023.

The next, upcoming speaker will be:

Tuesday 25 July 2023 (9 am - 11 am) via Zoom - Helen Sword, 'Writing with Pleasure' - to find out more and to register - click here.

Past Speakers in our Focus Space Speaker Programme:

  • Hugh Kearns, 'Turbocharge Your Writing' (took place 17.5.23) via Zoom.
  • Dr Vikki Barnes, 'Energy Management' (took place 7.6.23) via Zoom.

Possible inspirational speakers will be tailored towards the ethos of the ‘Focus Space’ sessions, and we would like to invite you to take part in this very short MS Form which asks for your input so that we can get the very best out of this opportunity!

In this MS Form, we also ask if you would be interested in becoming a ‘Focus Space’ facilitator.  Any time you can commit – be that just a couple of times a month – would be very much appreciated.  By having a pool of facilitators, it spreads the load and does not become too onerous on any one individual.  The rewards are huge – just take a look at the Mentimeter above for participants’ feedback!

If you’d like more information, simply contact Researcher Development directly or select the relevant option on Question 5 of the MS Form.
